Hold, please

Dreams & thoughts to hearken upon,
Her lending ear working ardent & gone.
Tiny moments I had wished to share
Dissipated in time as ash in air.

A tall order of short words to dry the lips.
Distance & anger help clench the fists.
Transcendental contemplation.
Two dimensional conversation.

Two rafts of castaways lost at sea.
Do not drift from, come back to me.
The tide is ruthless & takes us from shore.
So take my heart, there’s still much more.

Shed light on this Shadow once worn,
Despising the feminine, even of whom I am born.
A wicked boy plucking at petals of rose.
True gambit in the Game of Throes.

The Mourning Star

A fallen star
But from afar
Who are you? Who are we—
But cast from infinity?
Why fight
When from the light?
What is what in the dark,
All emanated from spark.
You and I can reconcile,
But consider the start.
All is one, one is all
Adam and Eve
Set the Fall.

Sophia of the World

Knowledge is a true blessing,
For knowledge is given.
From the omniscious energy
Full of All that there is and is to become.
Knowledge cannot be personally attained.
Having common sense is not merely enough;
One must be lacking, yearning, seeking for completeness.
A young man may dwell on memories of better days,
Or contemplate on all there is and receive
an idea, transformed to action—Will.
A mouse may seek out his own food,
or he may realize he is being fed.

Descent

Taking his time down the steep dark descent,
He only found her by way of scent.
“Where are you?” Said he, reaching but not finding.
“There is another world up there only found by climbing!”
“Shhh!” She sang, gaze affixed to shadow image on the wall.
A hopeless heartache—if only they knew a fraction of it All.
